How Do The F-Series Fans Work
Centrifugal fans, often referred to as blower fans, play a pivotal role in industrial ventilation and air movement systems. These specialised fans are designed to generate a high-velocity airflow by directing incoming air into a rotating impeller. The impeller’s centrifugal force then propels the air outward, creating a powerful stream that is useful in various industrial applications. Unlike axial fans that move air parallel to the fan’s axis, centrifugal fans are particularly effective in situations requiring higher pressure and airflow resistance. The design of these fans allows for increased static pressure, making them well-suited for applications where air needs to be transported through ducts, filters, and other resistance-inducing components.

F-Series Centrifugal Fans
F-Series highly efficient fans have been designed to be used in conjunction with other iXtract extraction equipment to effectively eliminate fumes, dust and other hazardous particles. Our fans are manufactured in the UK to the very highest standards and in accordance with all applicable directives. 0.37kW to 5.5kW models come with a square construction which can be wall mounted for a more discreet installation. The 7.5kW to 37kW models include forklift pockets and should be floor mounted. We have both single or three phase power options available for the 0.37kW to 1.5kW models.
