Overview
Our Shaker Filter is a highly effective and low-maintenance solution for filtering and separating dust and particulates from woodworking environments.
Operating on a high powered shaker mechanism, this filter efficiently removes particulates by shaking or vibrating the filter media to dislodge larger accumulated particles, preventing clogging and maintaining optimal filtration performance.
For added safety in environments where dust explosions are a concern, our wood dust Shaker Filters offer optional explosion relief panels. These panels are designed to release pressure in the event of an explosion.
An optional Outlet Attenuator Kit is available to reduce noise levels.
Operation
How Shaker Filters Work
Dust-laden air enters the Shaker Filter through the inlet located in the hopper. The larger dust particles deposit into the collection bin below, due to gravity, while the finer dust particles are carried with the flow of air up through the filter bags.
The fine dust particles collect on the surface of the filter bag and the “cleaned” air passes to the top chamber and discharged through the outlet. When the “stop” button is depressed, the fan operation will cease and the cleaning cycle begin.
Once the fan has completed its run-down cycle, the shaker motor will start and filter cleaning operation will commence for a pre-set time of 30 seconds.
