Overview

An all-in-one solution designed for localised extraction and filtration of dust and fumes from grinding, welding and sanding processes.

The integrated high quality fan and filter provides a whole new level of convenience and performance when it comes to controlling hazardous dust and fumes without the need for a centralised system.

The iXtract range of highly durable, premium quality, standalone downdraught benches with integrated fan and filter are available in either 1.2m, 1.8m and 2.4m widths with optional backdraught panel and hinged doors plus optional extraction arm models.

The differential pressure gauge indicates when the filter requires changing ensuring no downtime and easy overall maintenance.

Operation

These benches operate on the principle of downdraught ventilation, where air is drawn downwards through the work surface, carrying with it any particulates, fumes, or dust generated during the work process.

The perforated grates on the surface of the downdraught bench allow the air to flow through and effectively capture the contaminants.

For high volume tasks, models equipped with an extraction arm, improve capture rates of airborne contaminants.

The dust and fumes are then safely filtered through the cartridge filter and clean air is discharged through the ducting outlet.
