What are wet collectors
Wet Collectors are the ideal solution for filtering and collecting combustible dusts from metalworking processes.
These processes include grinding, fettling, linishing, de-burring, polishing and trimming from metals such as Aluminium, Magnesium, Titanium, Zirconium, Lithium and Tantalum.
Our range of wet collectors adopt a scrubbing motion to wet, capture and filter fine dust particles from the air stream including flammable dust.
Operation
How do Wet Collectors work
Wet collectors adopt a scrubbing motion to wet and filter the very finest dust particles from the air stream, providing an efficient and effective way of dealing with a heavy burden of flammable dust.
Wet collectors use centrifugal force to pull both contaminated air and water from the water tank up through the drift eliminators creating a high-velocity air flow.
A liquid scrubbing curtain consisting of thousands of water droplets is created, this curtain captures the very finest dust particles removing the contaminants from the air.
